A labor of love

Keeping the circle going

Completely optional, always appreciated.

This site was made for the family, out of love, and it is free for every Prescod to use. That will not change.

The best way to think of it is like a family pot: everyone brings what they can, and everyone shares what is there. A few of us cover the yearly costs so the rest can simply show up, remember, and connect.

If you are able to pour back in, that love goes straight to keeping the site online, protecting every photo at full quality, and making room for the stories still to come. Nothing else.

If you are not able to, that is completely fine and nothing about your place here changes. Being here, using the site, and adding your own memories is worth more to us than anything anybody could send. Nobody is keeping a list and nothing here will ever be put behind a wall.

What we put in, we get out. What goes around, comes around. That is how we keep this going.

Domain and hosting.

The address and the ground the site stands on, renewed yearly.

Photo and video storage.

Every picture kept at full quality, not squeezed down.

Backups.

Copies in more than one place so nothing is ever lost.

Upkeep.

Fixing what breaks and building the things the family asks for below.

A gift that keeps the archive open

Help us hold on to our history

Every photograph here is kept at full quality, backed up in more than one place, and hosted so any Prescod anywhere can open it. Those costs are real, and they come around every year. If you are able to pour something back in, you are keeping this open for the ones coming after us.

You know what is missing. Tell us.

This site should be built by the family, for the family, so tell us what would actually make you want to come back. A feature, a page, a section, a fix, an idea nobody has thought of yet. Nothing is too small and nothing is too ambitious. We read every single one.
